The Film The film portrays the lives of two generations today in Vietnam. War photos taken by photographer Thomas Billhardt creates interest between young and old. The film’s main theme is Thomas Billhardt`s search for witnesses of the brutal war, whom he portrayed 30 years ago.
			Exhibition A major part of the story is an open-air exhibition on Hoan Kiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi. The local Press and an ex-colleague, Nguyen Van Nhiem along with the exhibition were of great support throughout the search.
	The past Thomas Billhardt is very interested in the development of the lives of his portraits 30 years later. One in particular is Nguyen Anh Luong, a young (female) soldier whom he photographed in 1969 on the streets of Hanoi. forward
